This is the transcript of the user interviews conducted as part of the UX research for Dwello.

User type A

Name : Saunak Roy

Location: Kolkata

Mother tongue: Bengali

Occupation: Software Engineer

He has work experience of about 3.5 years.

1. Have you lived outside your home?

   Yes, he has lived outside of his home for 2 years. He had to move to Bangalore for work.

   He was completely new to the city and it was his first visit to Bangalore.

2. What kind of residence did you live in?

   He lived in a PG. Considering the budget at that moment of his career he wanted to choose a cheaper accommodation and that's the reason he did not consider renting a flat.
   

3. Since you were new to the city how did you find out about the place you lived in?

   For the first week, the company he worked for provided him with accommodation and that was the time he had to decide where to live next. His friends and him decided on the locality closer to the office and then planned to go there physically to check out every PG available in that particular locality.

4. How was your experience finding a place?

   The number of choices he had was less(10-15) and there were many other things he had to consider as well, choosing a roommate, room and there was too much to do in too little time.
